Originally from Boston USA, Mick Reid started his career singing and playing blues harp in rock and blues bands 20 years ago. Since settling in Australia, Mick has assembled the Mick Reid Band who in 2003 released their acclaimed debut CD 'Long Hard Road'. Mick has performed around Australia at pubs, clubs and festivals including the Australian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn, Legends of Blues Festival in Thredbo and the Canberra Blues & Rock Festival, Blues On Broadbeach.
Every track from 'Long Hard Road' has received radio play on a nationally syndicated blues program (Ain't Nothin' But The Blues) as well as community and commercial radio blues shows in Queensland; New South Wales; Victoria; Tasmania and overseas.
Mick also played on the 2001 OzyMusic Top Ten Hit 'Won't You Help Me' by Night Train (formerly Juggernaught 101).
Mick has shared the stage with Australian blues greats as Jan Preston, Matt Corcoran, Pete Cornelius and recently completed a second successful tour with award winning blues guitarist Brian Fraser and percussionist Benny Owen in The Brian Fraser Trio...
